Violin and Viola Music Tutor

Ethan Ford Heath first performed as concerto soloist with orchestra at age 13. He went on to graduate from The Juilliard School, the Eastman School of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Interlochen Arts Academy. His teachers and chamber music coaches included some
of the best in the world. He has been a member of the Hong Kong Philharmonic for over 20 years, and performs regularly with his group the Salisbury Quartet.

Mr Heath has taught at DC since the school’s founding, and at various International Schools, ESF schools, independent music academies, and privately. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Hong Kong Baptist University. His students have received awards of Distinction in the ABRSM tests, have achieved the levels of ABRSM Diploma, Licentiate, and Fellowship; and have won categories of the Hong Kong Schools
Music competition twice, including the Violin Concerto 18-and-Under Category.
