I grew up on the west coast of the United States in both quiet and rural Oregon as well as busy and sunny San Diego, California.  My teaching experience has been at public high schools and middle schools in southern California.  As an English Language Arts teacher, my focus is on working with and supporting English Learners and students with special learning needs.  In my time away from the classroom, I enjoy camping, hiking, reading all sorts of fiction, gardening, and spending time with my family and pets.

I was born and brought up in India but have lived overseas for many years now. For the past ten years, I have worked in primary and secondary special education in ESF and other international schools in Hong Kong. As a SEN teacher, I support students in the mainstream classroom and in 1:1 setting. Outside school, I love to cook for my family, play tennis, go for runs and read.

Having lived in Toronto for 10 years, I returned to Hong Kong in 2011 and joined Discovery College. I am happy to be a member of the Learning Diversity Team and I am glad to have the opportunity to put what I have learned into practice at Discovery College. In my free time, I love to do reading, travelling and cooking.
