Melanie WILLIAMS

I was born in Australia but grew up in Hong Kong and call Asia home. I am an avid traveller and have worked in Canada, England, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and USA. I have a passion for inquiry and a Master of Science and spent five years as the Head of Primary Science. I recently lectured pre-service teachers in technologies at a university as I presented findings from my PhD research, interested in how emergent bilinguals learn science. I am grateful to be back in Hong Kong at such a wonderful school where I can spark students’ passions again through inquiry. When I find spare time I enjoy kayaking, diving, hiking and painting. I also love watching musicals and training my new cavoodle puppy.

Emma CAMERON

I am originally from the UK, where I started teaching, before moving to Hong Kong to teach at Kennedy School. I have also been a class teacher at Discovery Bay International School and Bradbury School before joining the team at Discovery College. I have been fortunate to have worked in amazing schools with dedicated and talented colleagues and wonderful children and families from all over the world. I have a keen interest in learning technologies and finding innovative ways for it to enhance learning. My family and I love living in the Discovery Bay community and make the most of our home in Hong Kong and Asia by hiking, camping, coaching netball and scuba diving.

Keiko TRIMINGHAM

Konnichiwa. I am from the exciting city of Tokyo, Japan and I am qualified as a Secondary Teacher there. I moved to HK in 2004 with my wonderful husband first child. We now have 4 beautiful daughters and they are all studying in DC. I love outdoor sports, traveling, reading, cooking and watching sports with my family. I also love children and have a passion to support them with their learning.

Vallery FABILLA

After completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, I worked as a private tutor which marked the genesis for my passion in education. Since then I have worked as an educational assistant and science laboratory assistant before joining the DC community. When my nose isn’t buried in a good book or a math problem, I split my time between the gym and my kitchen. I also enjoy travelling and learning languages.
