My program of teaching has been developed and refined over the past 28 years. I have very hands on approach and treat each student individually catering the lesson to best develop the confidence and motivation of the students. My method is very relaxed and friendly as I believe this really encourages the students. I have much of my own material written for the music course but also use internationally recognized Trinity College “Rock School” books through all grades. Whatever the goals of the student I will help them. If they wish only to have develop a fun music hobby or wish to go on to University; or just learn strumming and chords; pioneer their own Rock band or become a great improvisational guitarist playing soaring lead guitar riffs, I will be able to help the students. My lessons fully support the school’s music course.

I am also always writing and recording my own material constantly. My influences on guitar are Robert Fripp, John Mclauglin, Frank Zappa and Jerry Garcia. Plus of course my own style.
