Completing and Viewing eNotices in Gateway
eNotice is used to obtain parent permission for most excursions and activities. eNotice utilises the ESF Gateway system and streamlines the way parents approve both attendance and payment for the activity using the ePayment function. Note that if you have more than one child participating in an excursion, you will receive an eNotice for each child, and you will need to complete each one.
You will need to have sufficient funds in your ePayment account in order to approve an eNotice if there is a fee associated with it. If your account does not have the necessary funds, you will not be able to complete the eNotice.
When an eNotice is available, parents will receive an email informing them about the activity, which includes notification that there is an eNotice awaiting their approval. To view and approve the eNotice, please follow the steps below:
1. Log in to the Gateway at https://dc.tg.esf.edu.hk using your Gateway Parent username and password.
a. Type in your Family Login Name
b. Type in the password you set for your Gateway Account.
c. Click Login.
If you have forgotten your password click the forgot password link and wait for 30 minutes (max) for an email. Do not attempt to repeatedly login with the wrong password as this will lock the account. If you do not receive an email after 30 minutes please contact email@example.com/george.
2. If there is an eNotice for you, you should see it from the “eNotice” section on your dashboard page, which is below the student profile.
3.Click on the eNotice you wish to complete. The eNotice will contain the details of the activity and any relevant costs.
4. You need to complete the required questions in the Reply Slip at the bottom of the eNotice and click the ‘Sign’ button at the bottom to complete the eNotice.
Note: After you complete an eNotice, it may no longer appear in the queue. You can view eNotices that you have already completed by clicking the Ellipsis (…) button next to eNotice on your dashboard.
