Hello and welcome to the new school year. My name is Joanne Li and I am from Beijing, China. I began teaching in 2000 and during this time I have taught Mandarin from Grade 3 to Upper school. Before coming to Hong Kong I was teaching in Philippines and China. My husband and I just moved to Discovery Bay, and we like living in DB. This year I will be teaching Mandarin to Secondary school. I really enjoy the international school environment and the opportunity to meet so many different people from around the world. D.C. has a warm and friendly environment.   On a personal level, my interests are traveling, reading and meeting new people.
