Indication of summative assessment: As a production company students will rehearse and present selected scenes from the text ‘Lord of the Flies’. They will explore and choose roles within the production company, for example actor, lighting designer, set designer etc. Students will design and create a soundtrack for the piece in Music lessons. They will explore elements of technical theatre and they will participate in a workshop with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre Company. Assessment will take place throughout the creative process and in a performance at the end of the unit.
