No Boundaries 2011'No Boundaries' is the name we give to our Year 10-13 Camp Programme and 2011/12 academic year will be the second year of its existence. The purpose of this programme is to look for opportunities for our students to experience and appreciate different countries and cultures and/or be immersed in the languages and history which we teach as part of our programme and/or make a difference to communities which are not as well resourced as our own. We want our students to develop further independence and interpersonal skills by being placed outside of their comfort zones. We want them to develop an understanding of different cultures and communities and where appropriate, an empathy for those who are less-well resourced than they are. In doing so, they will see the need for action and understand that they can make a difference to the lives of others. The Year 10/11 Programme has a package of trips which include a Hong Kong-based camp, Borneo, China, Laos, Thailand, Japan, New Zealand and Spain. It will cater for ~150 students across both year levels and will take place between 26 November and 4 December 2011.
