Best time to visit

Discovery College welcomes university representatives and will do our best to accommodate your busy schedules.  For planning purposes please note:
Our school calendar is updated regularly on our homepage so you can see when we are in session and when we off for holidays or professional development. 

For individual visits, it is best to come during our secondary lunch period, which is from 1:30-2:20pm.  It is also possible to come during our recess period, which is from 10:25-10:45am or after school at 3:15pm.

For group visits we can arrange for you to come during lunch or at another time in the afternoon on certain days.  Contact the office for more information.

Directions to DC

Discovery College is located in Discovery Bay (DB) on Lantau Island, an outer island of Hong Kong, situated just a 25 minute ferry ride from Central Hong Kong and a 30 minute bus ride from the international airport.  DB is a self-contained residential community, which does not allow taxis, but has its own bus terminal, restaurants, plaza and beach.

It is possible to take a taxi to the entrance of Discovery Bay and take a bus from there, or to take a taxi or drive to Sunny Bay and take a bus from there.

To get to DC by Ferry
Go to Central Ferry Pier #3 (can be accessed by taxi, bus or by taking the MTR to Hong Kong or Central Station).  Take ferry to DB, exit the ferry terminal and turn left to walk to bus exchange area. 

Before 9am, take the Number 9 bus.  After 9am, take the C4 or C9 bus. 

• The 9 will go past Discovery College and turn around at North Plaza.  Alight at the Siena Park stop, which is the first stop after North Plaza.
• The C4 will go around DB and then through North Plaza.  Alight at the Siena Park stop, which is the first stop after North Plaza.
• The C9 will go past Discovery College before reaching North Plaza.  You will need to get off at the stop right before North Plaza and cross the street to get to DC.

Walk to the left past the Siena Club, through Siena Park to DC.

To get to DC by MTR/Bus via Sunny Bay
Take the MTR to Sunny Bay (www.mtr.com.hk/eng/)

Leave the station (Exit A) and walk to DB Buses.  Take either the DB03P or the DB03R.

DB03P enters Discovery Bay and goes through North Plaza.  Alight at the Siena Park Stop, which is the first stop after North Plaza.

DB03R enters Discovery Bay and takes the residential route.  Alight at the first stop after entering DB and then get on the C4, which goes through North Plaza. Alight at the Siena Park Stop, which is the first stop after North Plaza.
Walk to the left past the Siena Club, through Siena Park to DC. 

Check in at Reception

To get to DC by MTR/Bus via Tung Chung
Take the MTR to Tung Chung (www.mtr.com.hk/eng/)

Leave the station (Exit B) and walk to DB Bus.  Take the DB01R.

DB01R enters Discovery Bay and ends at the DB bus exchange. 

Follow directions from pier (ferry terminal) above.

To get to DC from Hong Kong International Airport
Take the DB02R (pick up at bus stop outside Car Park 1).

DB02R enters Discovery Bay and ends at the DB bus exchange. 

Follow directions from pier (ferry terminal) above.
