I was born to British parents in the UK and, apart from some early years in Norway and then a few years in Singapore as a young teenager with my family, pretty much grew up there. Since that experience of living abroad when I was 13, I had always wanted to do so as an adult and love living in such a vibrant place as HK. Previously, I taught English in a school in Hertfordshire in the UK, and have a real love for my subject and believe in its importance for my students. As the stereotype goes, I love reading – all sorts, but I have a soft spot for South Asian literature. I love to travel and see new places, love dancing (badly) and have a slightly embarrassing love of all things musical.
